Kerala’s Largest Summit for aspiring Student Entrepreneurs
The Innovation Entrepreneurship development centres are small incubators physically available at Engineering, Polytechnic, Management and Arts & Science colleges which promotes Innovation and entrepreneurship from the college level. Kerala Startup Mission is supporting 147 IEDC across the state which helps the students to come up with innovative ideas and work within the IEDC and start their entrepreneurial journey.
The students along with their studies can pursue entrepreneurship and work on their idea to develop the prototype. The students having a product idea can develop the prototype from the Fab labs available at Trivandrum (Technopark) and Ernakulam (Technology Innovation Zone). These IEDC have created around 200 startups in the state. The students who pursue entrepreneurship are able to work on a particular product and enhance their technical skills, which on their carrier will be an add on even though his start up fail. Frequent events like technical workshops, leadership workshops, design thinking and business modelling workshops are happening often in these IEDCs’ there are hundreds of youngsters who have the thrive to change the world.
The summit is scheduled with two sets of panel discussions, on the first half we are trying to bring in two levels of entrepreneurs, one who have succeeded from Kerala and established their business across the globe and the young generation entrepreneurs who are building their enterprise globally.

As a precursor event, the IEDC of Pathanamthitta, Alapuzha, Kottayam and Idukki Regions are cordially invited to IEDC Student Coordinator Meetup on 13th August, 2016 at St.Joseph’s College of Engineering and Technology, Palai, Kottayam.
Concerned IEDC Nodal Officers are requested to send 2 IEDC Student Executives to attend this Program.
